Thalessemia Center in Oud Metha, Dubai
On November 27th, in celebration of National Day, Action Care, joined by several active volunteers, conducted an activity morning for patients at the Thalessemia Center in Oud Metha, Dubai.
Thalessemia patients coming in for their blood transfusions enjoyed activities centered aroound National Day, with flag-making, UAE themed arts, crafts, board games, facepainting, balloon sculpting, gifts and snack bags.
All had an enjoyable time and the parents accompanying their children were thankful for the event which helped to brighten their lives and build courage.

The material presented in the Start Early course is structured and organized, and enables the participants to understand the concepts clearly. I like the fact that the course is fun and interactive, unlike other workshops that rely only on theory. Educators and parents need to come to workshops like this.
